Launch of the 2013 Latin American Economic Outlook

The official launch of the Latin American Economic Outlook 2013 took place on Friday 16 November 2012 (09:00-09:45) in Cádiz, Spain, as a side-event of the XXII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government.
IN DEPTH - SME POLICIES FOR STRUCTURAL CHANGE
Latin America will continue to experience relatively strong growth in the short term, and, if necessary, there is room for countercyclical action. However, in the medium term the region faces problems resulting from its heterogeneous productive structure. The Latin American Economic Outlook 2013 focuses on the situation of Latin American SMEs and provides public policy guidance to transform SMEs into agents of positive structural change.
